Prelude 1 Bala Krama (Stepping into Strength)
The first prelude begins the process of breath stabilisation. Through rhythmic repetition of simple vertical movements you can develop strength and flexibility in the muscles and bones, and help focus the mind. Uddiyana Bandha is introduced.
Prerequisite: 6 months - 1 year of Intro to Shadow Yoga.
Prelude 2 Chaya Yoddha Sancalanam (Churning of the Shadow Warrior)
The second prelude breaks down restrictions in the hips and shoulders, and improves circulation of breath, blood, lymph and life force. Simple seats and yoga asana are introduced.
1-2 years of Bala Krama Prelude Introduction.
Prelude 3 Karttikeya Mandala (Garland of Light)
The third prelude frees the spine - increasing the circulation and penetration of breath and life force through circular, spiral and swaying movements. Students prepare for more complex seats and yoga-asana and for Asana - Angahara, Nṛtta Sādhanā and yoga inversions.
